Paul Morris from The Chocolate Café – Episode 2
This week on This is Rammy, we interview Paul Morris from The Ramsbottom Chocolate Café.
With the Ramsbottom Chocolate Festival coming up, and Easter just around the corner, Paul is quite obviously busy busy and This is Rammy were fortunate enough to be able to catch up with him to get a few words.
From Paul’s future projects such as his plans for the old Mondi Papermill opposite Ramsbottom Train Station, which has been closed since December 2008.
Originally, Sainsburys had registered interest to build on this land, but that was withdrawn, now Paul has a cunning plan to revolutionise the site, years of effort has already been sunk into this, I’m excited to see if it can be approved.
As most people know, Ramsbottom Chocolate Festival is coming up at the end of the month, March 28th and 29th 2015. This year, Paul and other organisers of the event have made a few modifications that should make it easier to move around, as well as adding more traders.
This years Chocolate Festival should be the biggest yet, despite the fact funding had to be cut from Bury Council last year, with an anticipated footfall of over 30,000 people cramming into Ramsbottom to fill their faces with Chocolate.
Whilst you’re at the Chocolate Festival why not pop into St Paul’s on Bridge Street where there will be a big book sale going on. That’s on Saturday the 28th of March.
